Our second workshop was led by theatre maker, playwright, director and producer Jo Egan.

Her workshop entitled "Digging for Theatre" looked at Improvisation as research for the truthful performance of being human.

Read what participants made of the workshop:

Charis King, Actor: "Jo Egan introduced us to some brilliant and unique exercises which equipped us to later perform in some improvisation scenes. We were given generous amounts of performance time which allowed us to move beyond the safer territory of comedy into some really exciting truthful encounters. I was particularly inspired to realise the potential improvisation holds for creating game-changing narrative structures."
